Kylie - ShowGirl Tour
The Showgirl concert kicked off at Glasgow's S.E.C.C. on March the 19th, further dates were, 20, 22 23 and 24th. Kylie then took a three weeks break from the UK venues but continued touring abroad (France, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark) before arriving in Ireland for four concerts at Dublin's ' The Point Theatre' on April 7, 8 ,9 and 11 . Tickets were sold out.
The following week Kylie was back in England with six more concerts at the Birmingham N.E.C on April 15 16, 17, 19, 20 and 21. On Saturday the 23rd of April Miss Minogue was booked at the Manchester Arena where did play a further four dates, 24, 26, 27 and 28.
The tour reached its peak in the UK at Earl's Court Arena - April 30th and May 1 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7.
The Showgirl spectacular should have ended in Australia with six new dates , kicking off in Sydney on May 19, going to to Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide to close in Perth on June 14

Kylie Minogue - The 2005 ShowGirl Greatest Hits tour is put on hold
| Kylie was diagnosed in Melbourne with breast cancer and has postponed the Australian tour. Australian fans can obtain a ticket refund. Kylie has undergone successful surgery and now radiotherapy at the Cabrini hospital in Melbourne and is expected to make a full recovery, up to a year off is predicted. Kylie will undergo six months of intensive therapy plus a further six months resting to recuperate. |  |

Kylie is now on the road of recovering from breast cancer, today she visited the cancer ward at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne, Australia. It was a pleasent surprise for the sick kids, the meeting was kept secret until the very last minute by organizers 'Challenge' ( kids-with-cancer support group.).This was Kylie's first public appearance since May 7 last showgirl tour date in London. Earlier sister Dannii said, "I heard she's going to be fine. She's really lucky her cancer is treatable. She's getting better by the day. I can't wait to see her back on her feet. She's inspirational, she's a real fighter."
The treatment started on May 17 with surgery to remove the cancer cells, radiotherapy, check ups and home rest will continue for the foreseeable future.
Kylie agreed to do a fertility treatment after doctors warned her that chemotherapy could hinder the success of a future pregnancy.

- UK Homecoming Shows - Kylie will put on her Showgirl tour back in the UK from January 2nd , 2007 at the famous indoor 12,750 seating capacity Wembley Arena in London (6 shows) and from the 12th of January at the MEN Arena, Manchester (6 shows).
"This new show will allow the many UK fans who could not get tickets for her tour last year to see one of the most spectacular events Kylie has ever created".

Kylie is planning a rescheduled Australian tour, possible dates for October or November 2006, Kylie has attended meetings in London to reorganise the 2005 postponed tour.
Fans that purchased tickets for the earlier tour will be able to exchange them for tickets to the new tour, the option of refunds is still open because the tour is so far in the future.
Kylie Minogue has been asked to headline the Glastonbury music festival in 2007 by organiser Michael Eavis, “Kylie is coming back hopefully,” said Eavis. “Her people are quite confident - she wants to do it.”“I do hope she is fit enough, she really wants to do it.”.
